JAN JUNIOR workshop ‘Painting in Action’

  • Museum JAN 50 Dorpsstraat Amstelveen, NH, 1182 JE Netherlands (map)

Han Ernest

The paintings of Sam Francis show an explosion of colours and shapes with spots, drops, lines and strokes. The splatters of paint may remind you of a disco-dip ice-cream or a funny TikTok dance. How was it possible for this artist to create an 8-metre-wide painting? And what do you feel when you look at his canvases? With all these questions in mind, we will dive into the JAN JUNIOR studio. There we will create cool 'action paintings' using finger paint, sponges, cotton swabs, corks and much more. Ready to get started? Let’s start painting!

For children between 6 - 12 years old. Children's participation is free, parents/coordinators pay the regular fee. Museumcard is valid.

Important: wear old clothes, so you can fully enjoy all the painting!
