Saskia Boelsums, Landscape #56, 2019

Following the enormous success of our previous master classes, Museum JAN is organising two new ones. The exhibition of artist Saskia Boelsums is the starting point of the master classes, which will focus on nature photography.

Lesson 1: In the first lesson, the participants will go out with their cameras to take pictures of the landscape of Amstelveen. Under the guidance of our specialised guest instructor, you will learn how to take the most beautiful landscape photos using your own SLR, system camera or smartphone.

Instructor: Corine Zijerveld has been a qualified portrait and reportage photographer for entrepreneurs since 2008. In addition, her immediate surroundings inspire her to capture the changing landscape with her camera every week. Looking, registering and intuition are paramount in her process. The photographer likes to pass this on to the participants of the master class. 

Practical info: These master classes are intended for various levels. They can be done together or separately. Please bring your own camera (SLR, compact camera, system camera, smartphone). Each lesson will start with a viewing session in Museum JAN.

Price: €12.50 per masterclass, €20 for two workshops (entrance fee included).
