Do you like famous Dutch painters like Johannes Vermeer? And is photography something you love to do? Then Museum JAN invites you to take part in a photo competition. Be inspired by photographer Marie-Jeanne Van Hövell tot Westerflier and paint just like her with your camera. Take a portrait photoor create your own unique still life. Send in your best photo and maybe you will be chosen as the winner by our public jury!

How to take part:

1. Find a model or subject. Get your camera and take a picture that you’re proud of.

2. Send the photo as a JPEG in high resolution to educatie@museumjan.nl or hand it in printed at the deskwith your name and e-mail. Deadline 25 August.

3. The curator of the museum will choose the best photos to be exhibited.

4. From 29 August, the public can vote. One photographer of each category will go home with the coveted audience prize.
